We know global teams that are culturally aligned enjoy significantly higher performance and engagement levels than teams that are not. The 6-stage CAT programme is tailored to your organisation's specific cross-cultural dynamics and business goals.
Stage 1: CAT set-up
In this phase, we draft a tailored transformation plan, including desired outcomes, metrics, and participants. We set up governance groups to guide the change, building rapport and establishing trust with your key players to build a coalition for change.
Stage 2: Cultural diagnostic
We carry out a cultural audit to identify 'Friction' (the tension that arises when working cross-culturally), leading to 'Failure' (not meeting requirements or expectations) in your global operations. We identify 'Test vs Control' delivery teams and baseline data before roll-out.
Stage 3: Co-create
We carry out an on-site CAT workshop where webring everyone together to co-create a high-performance team culture for the Test team. We then contrast Test vs Control team performance with a metrics dashboard with your OKRs and KPIs - measuring what matters to you.
Stage 4: Culture shift
We support the Test team to work in new, culturally-aligned ways to achieve agreed goals across Business, Process and People. Over a 6-8 week period we track Test team progress on a metrics dashboard against the 'Control' team who are operating in their normal manner.
Stage 5: Confirm results
We demonstrate how your culturally-aligned Test team has moved the dial significantly across agreed metrics. They'll be happier and more productive, and become cultural ambassadors for new ways of working when your global teams are culturally-aligned.
Stage 6: CAT report
Your CAT report will include qualitative and quantitative data with success stories from the Test team. Also, a hand-over plan for your HR team, and a scale-up plan detailing how to get the rest of your global team culturally aligned, based on CAT pilot proof of concept.
Typical duration
Each CAT programme is unique, and tailored to your schedule. Normal business delays (like delivery cycles, setting up meetings, etc) may extend the duration. Typically, a CAT pilot will take 8-12 weeks.
